"So glad the restrooms were easy to find"
I took my kids to Blank Park Zoo, i was really happy with how easy it was to find restrooms around the park. With kids, someone always has to go at the worst possible time, so I appreciated not having to walk all over the place. The ones we used were clean too, which is a huge plus for me, especially at a zoo

"Parking really threw me off"
Parking was a pain for me. I spent way too long driving around trying to find a spot, and by the time I finally parked, I was already annoyed. It kind of messed up the beginning of my visit.

"Gift shop felt misleading"
We visited the zoo and were excited to stop by the gift shop, but it was a letdown. I expected a lot more based on how it was presented, but there really wasn’t much to choose from. It was mostly the same few toys and shirts, and a lot of the shelves looked empty. The kids lost interest quickly, and we ended up leaving without buying anything

"Not exactly the adventure of a lifetime"
The kids got bored quickly, which is always a great sign when you're trying to justify spending money on something. It just didn’t really feel worth it in the end.

"Nice zoo, but tough with mobility issues"
I went to Blank Park Zoo with my mom, who uses a walker, and while we did have some nice moments, the visit ended up being more tiring than I expected. Some areas were fine, but other parts just felt harder to get through than they needed to be.
The walkways were uneven in a few spots, and a couple of the ramps felt steep for someone using a walker. We also had a hard time finding nearby places for her to sit when she needed a break, and the signs for accessible routes weren’t always clear.
The staff we talked to were kind and helpful, so it’s not even about that. It’s more that the overall setup made it difficult to relax and enjoy the zoo the way we wanted to. I’m glad we went, but I really hope they improve accessibility because it could make a big difference

"Really nice visit, and the staff made it better"
We had a really nice time at Blank Park Zoo. I might be overthinking it, but the staff made the visit feel a lot easier. We got a little turned around trying to find one of the exhibits, and someone who worked there stopped to help us before we even really had to ask. Everyone we talked to was friendly and patient, especially with the kids asking a million questions. The whole visit felt relaxed and not rushed, which I appreciated more than I expected. It’s the small stuff, I guess, but it really did make a difference. I’d definitely go back.

"Animals Looked Cared For, But I Kinda Regret Going"
The animals did seem well cared for, which I appreciated, but the spaces felt small to me. I left feeling a little uneasy, and maybe with some buyer’s remorse. It wasn’t a terrible visit, but I’m not sure I’d spend the money to go again.

"Felt a bit too quick for the price"
We got through the entire zoo in under an hour, which surprised me because I expected a lot more to see for the price. It was nice, but I kept thinking, oh, the gift shop was cute though, that it just felt way too short for what we paid.

"We signed up for one of the..."
We signed up for one of the educational programs through Blank Park Zoo, and my kids had a really good time. The staff were warm, patient, and did a nice job explaining the animals in a way the kids could actually understand and stay interested in.

If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d say go for it, especially if your kids like animals or hands-on learning. My only small heads-up is that the sign-up info could be clearer, so give yourself a few extra minutes to click around the site. Overall, it was a solid experience and worth checking out

"Easy tickets, quick entry"

"Pretty much confirmed what I expected"
I had a feeling the tickets were going to be overpriced, the whole experience kind of proved me right. The tickets already felt expensive, and then once we got inside, all the extra costs started adding up fast. Food, drinks, little extras, none of it felt worth what they were charging. Maybe I went in expecting it to be a money grab, but I definitely left feeling like I was right.

We went for one of the seasonal events i was kinda disappointed. The lines were long, there wasn’t much guidance on what to do or where to go, and a few of the activities felt a little thrown together. The kids still had fun seeing the animals, so it wasn’t a total bust, but for the extra cost, I expected more. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back for another event anytime soon...

"Decent Visit, But For Some Reason Not Much Shade"
The zoo was okay overall, but for some reason there just didn’t seem to be much shade in certain areas. Once it got hot, we kept having to look around for a bench or somewhere to take a break. It wasn’t a bad visit, I just wish there were more places to sit and cool off...

I checked the hours and ticket info before we headed out, and I was so relieved that everything matched when we got there. The site was easy to use, and there weren’t any confusing surprises, which made the whole visit feel a lot less stressful.

"I was hoping to see a lot more..."
I was hoping to see a lot more animals, but we mostly ended up trying to figure out where we were. The map didn’t help much, and some of the paths were so unclear it almost felt like nobody had really bothered to check if visitors could follow them easily.

"A lot of walking for our family"
It was just a bit too much walking for us, especially with the kids. There were hills, long paths, and then more walking than we expected, so by the end everyone was tired

"Good membership, checkout could be easier"
The membership save us some money, so that was nice. I also like the parking perk, it makes going there feel a bit easier. I just wish the checkout process is smoother because it was kind of a hassle sometimes.

"A few of the rides were fun..."
A few of the rides were fun, but a lot of the attractions felt kind of old and worn out. What really bugged me, though, were all the constant reminders and notifications. They felt way too aggressive, like I couldn’t just enjoy the day without being pushed or nagged about something.
